Love the fic.

As for a sequel, why can't you do both? Buffy rebuilds her
relationships with Willow and the rest of the gang whilst
building a relationship with Kat and from that her relationship
with Willow becomes much closer, maybe tips over into romance. I
get the feeling that Willow has been, for all practical purposes,
Kats mother whilst Buffy was in jail.

I think an interesting sub-plot would be Joyces reconcilliation
with the daughter she has lost and the granddaughter she has
never really known. Joyce has been estranged from Buffy and Kat
(love that name BTW) yet has been gaining financial benefit from
Buffys art work. There is a lucrative market for art produced by
death row inmates which will have pushed the prices sky high.

Given the technology we currently have in both cybernetics and
genetics could Buffys damaged limb be replaced? Willow is a
doctor, and a damn fine one, who probably has some contacts and
influence. Could she get Buffys arm fixed/replaced?

I assume that Buffy could sue the state of California for a hefty
chunk of money. They have incarcerated her for 14 years,
attempted to kill her as a result of a curruption of both their
legal and political systems, cost her a limb and generally ruined
her life. We should be talking a hefty hunk of change here.

Who are Buffys real family?
