E Bailey covered a lot of the canon subtext ships in his
Unconventional Buffy Shipping articles that were posted to this
group, as well as the fanfic ones, so they might be a good place
to start. They should be in the archive.

If you're in the UK you might want to subscribe to the BRAXS
grout (also on egroups). I recently posted (with Es permission)
the unconventional shipping articles there.
