RE: OT: Grrr... Arrgghh.... A rant agianst the new eGroups banners<<< It is weird, I've been
noticing banner inconsitancy between all my lists. I'm assuming it is due to them still trying to
work the bugs out. Or it might have to due with the format of the email sent to egroups. If you
send a HTML format message you get that big ugly picture add, sending text format messages get the
slightly smaller one without the pictures.

No, you are right there. Messages sent in HTML get a picture banner, messages sent in plain text,
get a 4-6 rows large (mostly the latter) text banner. That has always been so, but because the
banners were until now on the bottom of the messages, this wasn't that obvious.
