Fic: Now that I've found this love.

Hi,

I'm new to this list, been lurking for a couple days. I was told by a couple
of feedbackers that I should send this here, cause to them it screamed B/W.
I purposely left out any names for the characters, it's a pick your own
character fic. *g* Hope you like.

Murray. (First names escape me) they did some of the scorework for Buffy.
Summary: Someone reflects on love.
Rating: PG-13.
Notes: College starts tomorrow so my little dribble of fic will dry up for a
few weeks. I haven't been very inspired fic-wise recently either. Hopefully
that will change. There is no specific couple for this, it can be who ever
you choose. The song btw, was used in Surprise, during Buffy's dream.

It feels so right now, everything has slotted into place and I can't help
wondering how I managed to survive before. Before you. I'm surrounded by
your love, it's shown in your eyes, I can hear it from your lips and feel it
from your touch and I know I'm doing the same thing to you.

I'm lying by your side. I can hear your heartbeat thumping just below my
ear. Your hand is wrapped in my hair and you've got the sweetest smile on
your face, I can't help it. I sit up and kiss you gently on the cheek, your
smile gets wider and I know, I'll do anything for you, you just have to ask.

When you touch me, there is nothing and no one else. Everything melts away
leaving only me and you together. The world could end and I wouldn't care,
as long as you were there.

I must have done something right to find this love. It's what I dreamt of
when I was small. Sunnydale might not be the place for 2.4 kids and a white
picket fence but who says I want them? I'm just happy to have you by my
side. We've both seen some things in our time on the hellmouth, things that
everyone else doesn't believe in. But we've survived and I'll do anything to
keep it so.

The moon shines in through the curtains, highlighting your face. I gently
trance those familiar features, running my finger down your nose and on to
your lips. Bending down I replace my finger with my lips. Your breathing
changes and I know you're awake, you're just playing with me. As I slowly
tease your lips with mine I can see your eyes open. You glance at me, an air
of playfulness surrounds us and I know that everything alright in the world.

I'll do anything for you. //

Your hands touch me and once again, everything melts away to be replaced
with you, only you. Your skin, your hands, your lips pressing to mine,
turning everything upside down as you take over me with your love. I
whisper, "I love you" and you whisper it back, eyes crinkled up in a smile,
one that I know so well. I'm so glad I found this love.
