OT: A short rant

Hey everybody.

Okay, this has been bugging me for a little while now. I've read things saying that Dawn's
addition (Michelle Trachtenberg) means the show is losing his edge, and that the show is
trying to reel in the preteens. I happen to like Dawn, one for the mystery surrounding
her, and the fact that her and Buffy's rivalry amuses me and reminds me of myself and my
sister. (Who is the same age).

But that's besides the point. If any of these people actually paid attention to the show,
they'd know that Dawn's arrival has been coming since the 3rd season finale when Faith
mentioned "Little Miss Muffet" in the dream. (Did anybody catch "Real Me" and the
reference to that?). And Faith mentions it yet again in "This Year's Girl"'s dream
sequence. So the show is not losing its edge, it's been planned all along. I just get
frustrated.

It has nothing to do with anybody on here, I just hate when people attack the show and
know nothing about it. One last thing: Britney Spears. I don't like her music, but if she
wants to appear and get staked, that's fine with me ;-) I don't know a thing about her as
a person, so I won't judge. Hey, whatever. John Ritter guest starred right? And I know
Joss would put Britney in the right role. If she didn't work out, he wouldn't use her. The
same people I mentioned lumped her in with coming on to draw in pre-teeners.
