"Mom, I've got something to tell you." 

Buffy looked into a face full of fear. 

She continued "I've met someone... No that's not it." 

"There's someone who's been in my life for quite some time now
and
well..." 

"...well I known them for a long time and just thought they were
a good
friend. Lately it's gone beyond friendship." 

"You know how you can look at someone every day and not really
see them?
Then one day it's like the blinds have opened and suddenly you
see them
in a whole new light?" 

"Well that's pretty much what happened. Mom, I've fallen in love.
Really
in love." 

Buffy turned as she heard the door behind her open, "Hi Wills!" 

"Are you ready?", Willow asked. 

"Nearly.", Buffy turned back the mirror she had been staring
into, "Mom,
I love Willow with all my heart. I want to spend the rest of my
life
making her happy." 

Buffy rose from her seat and picked up her shoulder bag. She took
Willows hand then kissed her gently, savouring her sweet lips. 

"So I'm telling mom and then we're seeing your parents to tell
them.
Well I hope it's a funny aneurism!"
