Hey everyone.

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

My two cents on the Riley issue, and what I interpret Buffy's thoughts and motivations to
be were expressed in the fic(which I'm glad was enjoyed). I'll just cover this point
again. She has never said "I love you" to him. The moment she could have said it was in
her speech, and then my arguement against them would be gone, but she chose to say "I need
you" instead.

So if people want to write fics and get rid of Riley, there shouldn't be that big of a
problem. Something else - I've heard B/R shippers defend Riley and the relationship.
That's all well and good, I even agree with some points, but you know what they've never
done? Tell me why they're so good together. Why they should be together. I can pick out
lots of reasons for Buffy/Angel, Buffy/Willow...but they have yet to explain they're
position. I don't take anything away from Marc Blucas, he's a great guy, I'm sure, but if
the only reason the majority of shippers like him cause he's reasonably attractive (more
than me, anyhow) they're arguement goes out the window with me.

As to Tara, I've been doing a lot of thinking there. She is different this season, no? She
and Willow seemed closer last season, and Tara seems awfully advoiding this year. Their
lack of touch is mostly do to Tara, I'd think. Her secret's coming out, I think she knows
it, so therefore she's backing off. It doesn't appear to be a happy secret, either. Also,
a part of it could be censors. Even snuggling would be a rocky thing to them.

But I was thinking this. Remember when Tara didn't enter that ingredient into the demon
locator spell and we all thought it was because she was a demon? Well I don't think that's
her reason. What if the new villain (arriving next week and is a demon of some sort, and
really powerful) is Tara's, and possibly Dawn's boss? What if by doing the locator spell,
Willow would have seen one really powerful demonic energy sticking out above the rest
(Tara's boss) and then the gang would investigate. What I think, is that somewhere along
the way, Tara fell for Willow, and her original mission was forgotten. Maybe to be a
distraction for the gang. Which would be Dawn's function now that Tara's in too deeply.

They're just ramblings, specifics I don't have any idea about. Just trying to figure out
where Joss is going. So for fics that get rid of Tara, Willow could feel betrayed, and
lack of trust could tear them apart. Just suggestions. Though on the show, I don't
thinkW/T are going to end. (At least not right away).

I know what Quin's talking about with the recent moments. I was pleased just hearing Buffy
talk so knowledgeably. She finally realized she had it in her, and then her debating with
Willow was so cool. It was odd at first, then you get how much she has changed.

Spike. Besides my LOL, I'll just say, it'll be pretty damn interesting. :-) This season is
shaping up very nicely (Along with it's counterpart), further reinforcing for me that this
show has not lost one thing. It is best two hours on TV, and I will argue with anyone
till I'm blue in the face about that.

And there is my analysis. Thanks to those who hung on.
