Listmum's back. Well, I've been back for quite some time. . .only
now am I able to sit and breath and write you all. Life's been hectic.
. .it seems that I left work for three days and everything is just haywire.
Just goes to prove that they can't live without a network administrator
for 3 lousy days. . .I have at least 3 weeks of work ahead of me to untangle
the mess they made of my poor server. . .and lets not even get into the
fact that there's a literal tangle of wires just crying out to be straightened
and routed to the hub ::shakes head in dismay over computer illiterate
people who *think* they know where this little wire goes to and how the
network certainly won't crash if they unplug that wire over there who *seems*
to have no purpose::
::sigh::
So I see you've all been busy little beavers while I was away. Uh-huh.
Now don't even try to give me that innocent look, we all know the halo
over the head only works on Bill's son Matthew and Heather's daughter Dana.
I know what mischief you're all capable of. . .and there are claw marks
on the hot tub to prove it. But how the pink boa feathers are still
sticking to the ceiling. . .well, I'm not sure I want to know about *that*
crazy little venture ;)
I would like my crazy little comma to relinquish the liquor cabinet
keys if she wouldn't mind. And no, I won't wait until you drop them
off at the locksmith for copying. Didn't think I'd catch on to the
whole "they're in my other fruit bat suit" thing, now did you?
And would someone *please* get those poor cows off the top of that building. They've been mooing in distress up there for so long, they've practically lost their voices. Hoarse cows in the Woods Outback just won't do. . .
As far as the equipment room goes, I know I've been lienient in the
past, but you guys really went haywire this time. I mean really.
. .who signed out the six jars of honey, two camcorders, one pair of leather
cuffs, one lime green feather boa, one cat-o-nine-tails and three pairs
of speedos? Come on guys, you know the speedo's are strictly for
amusement purposes. Those things can be dangerous in the wrong hands
you know. If you don't believe me, re-watch the episode of "Go Fish".
Personally, I'm still having nightmares. ::shudder::
As far as Florida goes, well, it was nice to get away and be with my
best friend again. ::sigh:: We've been friends for 10 years.
. .and we were a couple for 2 of them (don't ask. . .it's complicated.
lol) He left me for warmer pastures last October and I get down there
every chance I get. I didn't get to see Shyfox cuz she was sick,
as she stated at the beginning of her wonderful fic recently, but we'll
meet next time I go down there for sure. As for the Dark Lobster,
well, what do you think?? Of *course* I'd see her!!! We hung
out Saturday and Sunday. It was great to see her again. Yes,
again. heh. I was down for a weekend in September and that was the
first time we met. and of course I forgot my camera. duh.
Isn't it amazing the relationships you build over the internet??
Lisa is one of my best friends and I wouldn't trade her for the world two
times over. She's really something special in my life and she's changed
it for the best. You have *no* idea. ::sigh:: Okay,
some seriousness snuck in there when I wasn't looking. . .ooh!! Speaking
of camera's (stop right there, I know what you're thinking and that's
not it ::evil grin::). . .I remembered it this time!! A woo and a
hoo for me. So if you're interested you can see the Lobsters up close
and personal. lol. And there's a shot of Me, my best friend
Chris and his boyfriend Matt too! (hey, I said it was complicated.
didn't I? ::smirk::)
So...that about wraps up my little "I'm back so you'd better start behaving
damnit" letter. Questions? Comments? Too much information?
Oh well, I was in the sharing mood. ::shrug::
Proof
that Lobsters really do exist!!!
