Nine years have past in the Old Realm since the departure of General
Elisabeth Anne Summers after the Battle for Necris and the following Search
for Willow. Now Willow Summers, her wife and Leader the Alliance Council
must bridge the gap between the worlds to seek out her out, the darkness is
rising and the Last Hero of Necris is needed now more then ever. So the
final story in the Royalty series begins,

Prologue: Light and Shadows

Willow stood in the main square of the City of Necris, the city that was one
of the most secure places in the Alliance second only to the Halls of Clan
Thunderfoot. The War that they had been waiting for these last years had
finally arrived. With the northern settlements under repeated attack she had
decided it was time to summon the Last Hero of Necris. Gathering the
familiar energies around her and grounding them deep into the ages old rock
beneath her feet she raised the crystal into the air and shattered it with
her mind. What follow was the usual inward explosion of blue light that
heralded the creation of a portal. A blond elfin girl, no more then sixteen
seasons joined her side. Adjusting her crystal sword add her hip and
tightening the bindings on her hands. She muttered "Wow!" while pulling her
blond hair behind her pointed ears.
"First time through a portal Litni?" Willow asked with smile.
"Yep!" the elf answered and raised her hand to touch the shimmering portal.
"Youll be fine. Now come on we dont have much time, if we mess up we
could end up before I even left," the mage urged.
The elf nodded and in unison the stepped through the portal. There was an
explosion of light as the portal closed behind them.
