Problem with a story
Hello-
Obviously I have a problem, else why would I put that in the subject line. I
think I have a good story going along. It's going slowly, but it is going.
But know I am at the hardest point of the story, the hardest to write, and I
am stalled. I am trying to do a dream sequence and I just can't figure out
how to do it. I know one way but I don't want to do it that way. I want
Buffy to see things from an outside perspective, like someone standing just
outside the action but able to see and hear what is going on. For example, a
few scenes from episodes. But she won't be able to realize that until
someone (her guide) tells her so she will see these things for the first
time, so to speak. But everytime I think about sitting down and writing it I
always think of something else I would rather be doing. Like playing a game
or watching TV. I know that this stuff is supposed to be fun, but I want to
finish something for once. I've lost momentum. I've got another two or three
ideas floating around in my head, but I want to finish this one! Is anyone
out there? Do you have any advice? Another idea? Something to get me
motivated again. Anything would be helpful. And sorry for the crossposting,
but I need input. Thanks.
