Giles stared in disbelief at the telephone in front of him not daring
to accept what he had just heard. He removed his glasses and sat for
a moment with his head in his hands before reaching for the phone to
make the call he had dreaded since arriving on these shores.

"Mr Summers?"
"Yeah? Be quick. I have a business meeting in five."
"Its Rupert Giles. I want to know why you haven't signed the divorce
papers yet."
"Screw you, buddy. The moment I sign I gotta pay alimony. I'll fight
that bitch all the way."
"No, you won't. You'll sign those papers and leave me and my fiancee
alone. You hear me?"
"Yeah? You and whose army pal?"
"Oh," Giles voice dropped into a threatening whisper, "I'm sure I
could convince you."
