Ok, enough of that. I need to rant senselessly for a while. Cool line
about Willow wanting the Buffybot --- "Oh, for science." I just knew
Spike was gonna make something of the "I love all of you" comment. I
am curious as to why a network would pick up a show for several
seasons fully knowing that the title character is to be dead -- yes,
to those of you who ignored my warnings and haven't seen the ep, Buffy
is, to the best of the knowledge of all those who are not Joss, dead.
That might change, and I would be interested in knowing whether SMG is
contracted to play a character on the show next year, but as of this
moment, we have seen the body, we have seen the gravestone, she's
dead.

Ahh... but when there's a will their must be away... SMG is
contracted for two ore years of Buffy, and has already announced that
she's looking forward to get back to work. I'm sure the very
expensive gifts from UPN as welcoming presents to her, and the entire
staff improved their moood much.

I hope Anya is OK, it looked like she took a lot of debris to
the head -- never even got to try on her diamond. Maybe Amber Benson
will get star credit next year, instead of being a constant guest
star, like Emma Caulfield was last year - if I remember correctly?
Meanwhile, why didn't the falling of the walls between dimensions
cause any sort of a stir in the dimension Angel and co. were in at the
time? And I loved Cordy's: "Take your clothes off." Very funny line. I
can't believe we have to wait until next fall to find out what the
hell is going on. Realize that we probably don't even get to see
re-runs over the summer; not on WB, probably not on UPN -- unless
someone can reassure me to the contrary? Questions? Comments? I'd love
to hear what other people think of the situation.
The WB just announced that they will be showing Buffy re-runs, though
not on Tuesday, they have moved them to Wednesday night at 9pm. I'm
sure just to screw with UPN as much as possible. I think UPN was
hoping to start running re-runs, or if the WB refused, to let them
(since the WB has rights until the end of summer), they were at least
safe in the knowledge that people would remember Tuesdays at 8pm for
Buffy. Now the WB moves the day and time, and keeps the re-runs. I
can almost see some WB vice-president thinking "this will piss them
off"

Either way, Josh has been leading up to the whole Buffy dead for most
of this season, so I can't image he doesn't have some great plan to
bring her back, that will sound absolutely reasonable to our
befuddled brains. Traditionally the first episode of the season,
starts thre months in the future from the last episode, maybe that
gives Dawn some time to discover what it means to be the key...
