Amen, Chazzman, there's plenty of room for another group.
I personally will love a list where I know it's just B/W every time I get a message, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the diversity here. I myself went OT to post a research question (and a big thanks to Matt Last for answering it). And my favorite fic here, by a large margin, is Melissa Levine's piece of W/F heaven, "Walking Into Darkness." (See, Melissa, just because I inundate you with offline praise, that doesn't mean I won't give you public pops, too.) Quin makes a fine point that by restricting content, Lindsay's list may suffer from a lack of activity, but presumably that trade-off was taken into account. Oh, and none of this would be that necessary if our "official archive" (slayerhacker) was still up and running. I know I'm a fine one to criticize, as I have absolutely zero knowledge of the technical work involved in maintaining such a large archive, but it's a sore point with me, so forgive the unfairness. (BTW, if somene wants to fix Exquisite Coalescence so that I can read the B-slash categories, I wouldn't complain either.) And to clear up one bit of OT congestion: Eliza Dushku is in four films this year (which is why she only had time for that one scene in "Judgement" last season). Click this link to IMDb , type in "Eliza Dushku" and you'll get a list of all her film and TV appearances, each one a clickable link to a cast list and description of the film/show. Hoping all Lindsay's list means is that more people will be inspired to write more B/W (the best of all possible worlds), Dan Spector Received: from smtpin-101-9.bryant.webtv.net (209.240.198.149) by storefull-127.iap.bryant.webtv.net with WTV-SMTP; Tue, 17 Jul 2001 10:41:32 -0700 (PDT) Received: by smtpin-101-9.bryant.webtv.net (WebTV_Postfix+sws) id 81F9DB9; Tue, 17 Jul 2001 10:41:33 -0700 (PDT) Delivered-To: danspector@xxxxxxxxx Received: from mw.egroups.com (mw.egroups.com [208.50.144.94]) by smtpin-101-9.bryant.webtv.net (WebTV_Postfix+sws) with SMTP id E7DA246 for |
