Is it possible for something to be beautiful and horrifying at the same
time? I guess it is. The scene where Faith....wins....was one of the most
gut wrenching things I have ever read. In fact, the first couple of times I
sat down to send some feedback, the imagery flashed into my head and I found
myself unable to type. I mean, my fingers just would not work. But the way
it was written was so compelling that I cannot call it anything other than
beautiful. Normally, I avoid dark fics like the plague. I read fiction to
get *away* from the nastiness of real life (of course, the last couple of
days have kind of made everything else look positively cheery in
comparison), but I will always read what you write, just because of the way
it is written. Besides, somehow you always seem to end up in a *good* place,
and I walk away with a smile.

Concerning your OT 'it's NOT all we can do', truer words have never been
written. As long as we can dream, and give our dreams to others, the
creatures responsible for the insanity of the past few days will *never*
win. Besides, I kinda like the idea of being an occasional god. The perks
are a gas <g>.
