Hey,

You know, this is one of these e-mails that i never want to write and that i
still feel I need to...I so far managed to keep myself away from the entire
discussion, I refrained myself to Dan's e-mail (I like to see things from
his pov) to avoid a headache and now, after seeing this and reading a plea
from one of our most treasured list members i realized that this was not the
best course of action...

Now, before people get the wrong idea, i , Rodrigo, Rod , Myself03 or
whatever you want to call me, will be the first to admit that i agree, in
most part, with Dan's pov, and i'm not going to deny it, but now , while I'm
writting this, I'm doing so as a moderator of the Buffyloveswillow and
Buffywantswillow lists.Now, before i continue, i'd like to point out that i
don't intend, now or nowhere in the future, to try to censor the discussion
on the lists...I don't see a reason why and ,quite frankly, i think these
post episodes discussion helps ... to be able to share our thoughts about
the show, our pov...That's one of the reasons we are here in the first
place...They are as important as those post episode fics, if not more, since
they can also get people thinking, put ideas in their minds...It's something
we haven't being able to really do these past two seasons , but that we're
doing now, so i say, keep on the comments...What I AM going to try to do is
try to keep these discussions from becoming personal heated arguments,
something that wouldn't do us any good...

So, WHAT i'm trying to say ? We just got to agree that sometimes we are
going to disagree, that we all don't look at things the same away, that what
you see isn't the same thing the person next to you is seing...No matter how
much you try, sometimes people just won't see things the way you do, and
that's okay...We just can't make a big deal out of it...We can't blow these
things out of proportion...If someone doesn't agree with you , then you can
always try to explain things, but if they don't wanna see it, that's
okay...Your opinion won't be any less valid because of that...It's that way
in every other aspect of our lifes, why wouldn't it be here ? At least that
is the way i hope we will aproach things...

Now, that was just my general view on things, just a sort of general
guideline that i think has always being applied by everyone on our
lists...Now, on regards to this particular discussion that has being going
on i just don't think we will ever reach a safe conclusion...Not even the
show seems to be quite clear on the aspects of the whole thing...Sometimes
we are told something and then other times they go and change it and we
never really know where we stand on regards to a lot thing...Whatever it is
that what Joss has in mind or just a hole in the plotline we'll never
know...So, by the end of the day, nobody is right and nobody is wrong, we
just choose what is the best way to see things and stick to it....If we all
could agree on one thing it would be amazing, but we can't and we'll just
have to deal with that...We just have to remember to keep a level head about
this...

Okay, what has Dan won ? Was this some kind of game ? Because as far as I
was concerned this was just about two people having a difference of
opinion...Not really a win or loose situation...I'm pretty sure that Dan
didn't write these comments with the intention of making people dump the
lists...I just saw the e-mails that dealt with this, from begining to end
and , aside from a few sarcastic comments, made by both parts, i didn't
really see anything that could really be considered insulting or degrading,
so i'm a little surprised to see this reference to "messages from idiots".
To me it was only a matter of two people that happen to have conflicting
views on this particular subject, something that could easily be
solved...Still, i'm saddened to hear you want out of the list because of
that...I think that is a radical decision...The del buttom is there for a
reason, but if you have your mind set on leaving then there's nothing i can
do ...



Oh, and a reminder for the season :


One more thing...Despite everything, by the end of the day we're still a
Buffy/Willow list...These two characters, along with their relationship are
a important part of these lists, so it would only be natural for most of us
to look at things from their pesrpective...If these characters or their
relationship is being dealt with in a way that doesn't please us or that
doesn't agree with what we have seem between/about them so far, it's only
fair for us to complain and try to find explanations...Just like it would be
fair for the members of a B/S list to be pissed if these
characters/relationship were being portrayed in a bad light...The truth is ,
this season everybody will have a lot to talk about , especially when it
comes to these two , and most likely it won't be good stuff...I mean, more
than half of the message boards out there are already filled with I hate
Willow posts.So , it would only be natural for people to try to defend them,
and this is a good place to do that...Why i'm saying that ? Well, the truth
is , i'd really like us to steer away from the Willow haters group...I'm not
saying that we should all aprove their actions...i'm just asking everybody
to refrain from bashing...If you want to do that , there are lots of other
places to do that...Comments are okay, but flames, even to the
characters(and by characters , i mean Buffy and Willow, they are our focus,
the others can take care of themselves :) themselves, is something that
would only make many people mad...

Now, Sc , i hope you reconsider your decison and stay with us , and Dan ,
i'll be looking forward for your rants : )

Okay, now that THAT is out of the way , we can move on to more serious
matters....Like, is Love is an adventure ever going to be updated...When is
our listmom going to grace us with another one of her wonderful B/W one
pieces? Does shadow even remember that she left Wills all chained up in one
of her fics...i mean, is Buffy STILL punishing her for Oz ? Should we start
a web-wide campaign to get new parts from Whither Thou Goest(pink
Rabbit)...? And more importantly ...Don't these pants make my ass look HOT
? Yeah, they so do... : ) God, first i get turned on by the voice of the
TNT voice-over, now i'm admiring my own ass...Should i start worrying ?
