OT: new group

For some time I've been wondering about the
possibilities offered by a discussion group focussing
of TV show related and broader issues. As thanks to
the infinite complexities of yahoo I cant find out if
I'm duplicating, so I've decided to go ahead with it
and risk scolding.

There has been a bit of discussion on BWW and BLW
about how much of what sort of discussion is
appropriate on discussion/fic mixed lists, and how far
OT it is reasonable to go (for instance the passivism
discussion on SapphicSlayer). The idea of the list is
that by being a discussion list the argument can
evolve without the fear of going excessively OT,
irritating fic only types, or bruising fragile egos.
Anyway here's the address, you decide if the list is a
success or another victim of evolutionary pressure.
