OT: Pit And Pendulum

Greetings,
The curtain falls.
Well, not really. 
My Cyber Cafe is closing and with it my speedy, pretty unlimited connectionto
the 'net. Oh, I have alternatitives but the quality and speed will be...a joke
mostly. 

So in a way this is an endings. Of sorts. I'll probably check my email from
time to time and be able to be contacted thusly but the full total
interactivity of say..chatting, file sharing and the like is a thing of the
past. 
For now.

Eastern Europe sucks.

I discovered this group, and this genre ..just over a year ago I think. It has
been a wonderful experience. In terms of socialising, creativity, writing and
inspiration. It felt great to belong again and to find, meet and hang out
with(In a manner of speaking) so many like minded people as myself. Sure it
wasn't perfect(That public C&C issue still is important to me.) but the
plusses were a thousand times powerful than any losses. 

I learned more about writing and my productivity went through the roof. 
Considering I spent two years in anime fanfiction and wrote..maybe...fifty
pages and after a year in Buffy fiction I've got..well.. A BUNCH under my
belt. Bunches of stuff that is, if I'm to believe the emails I've gotten,
quality work. 

In the long run, I doubt much will change. I'll get the posts, read the fics,
say what I have to say and be done with it. Maybe I'll occasionaly post a
story; though in all honesty I'm pretty sure all the stories I had to say have
been done. 
Unless I'm challenged.

So, a few personal farewells.

Kirayoshi and Shyfox-
Ah. My two best mates herin. What's to tell. You're good friends, you were
good friends and I intend to do what I can to make sure you _stay_ good
friends. Brainstorming fics was some of the best times I've had(Which..doesn't
really say much about my life does it? KIDDING! I'm kidding.) Working together
on On Occasions, C&Cing, or just sitting back and relaxing with each other(Hey
Kira, did you ever recover from the bannana conversation? Hmmmm? Inquiring
minds want to know!)
SO.
If you guys want me to look anything over, drop me a line or what have you,
you know where I am. Should my net situation improve you _will_ be the first
to know. 
Suffice it to say Buffy/Willow fandom would not have been anywhere what it was
if you guys hadn't been around. Oh..sure..it probably would have been
neat(Redhead, Slayer...how can that not be neat?) but your inclusion made it
...

If there was anyone who had a dream feedback, I recomend you look at Thoth.
Cause, let's face it, this guy gave FEEDBACK! Not just 'Wow, that was good'
but more along the lines of..

'OH MY GOD! I'M BLEEDING FROM MY EYBALLS! YOU'VE MADE ME GO BLIND! YOUR FIC
WAS OF SUCH POWER THAT MY BRAIN...MY BRAIN!!..IT'S BEING EATEN BY TELETUBBIES
MADE OUT OF CHEESE!'

Well, not quite that extreme but I swear, Thoth's feedback could put a grinon
my face that would last the day..or two.

Never got to know you as well as I should have. 
What few snippet wars we had I remember. You were always very creative, the
snippets, the beginings of stories I've seen and, of course, TAOBAEVW is the
..the....something in french meaning 'Kick Ass Thingie' of the whole Buffy
Willow genre. 

I'd just like to see you finish a story, regardless of feedback or not. 
Begining, middle, end. It'd be..magical. 

Track this hacker bastard down and, borrowing one from Buffy, stake his ass.
No, I mean that litterally, chain him down and stake his ass. That's probably
where the little cruds heart is anyway.

YOU have to write more sir. My closing command to you.
Always popping up to say hi, just idle chit chat, though your assistance onmy
efforts and maniping taught me a great deal and for that I owe you and offer
my thanks(Cause I don't give cash...I'm a poor American boy far from home
remember?)

Havn't seen you as of late, but I'm guessing it's something school related and
requries you to be utterly responsible. Just remember my ultimate
disclaimer..

I disavow, deny, disbelieve and dismiss any and all things pertaining to the
ugly phenomonan known as 'reality'.

Gets me through many a hard night. 

Take care of yourself man, and don't go too crazy on the autoban..unless I'm
going along for the ride.
