Xan, my man, I know just how you feel. Responsibility and me go
together about as well as Angel and a suntan, Spike and altruism, etc,
etc.

Plus, I'm a huge procrastinator. You don't have be one of the
(possibly-imaginary) people who's been waiting a mere four months for me
to post more fic to know thatyou just have to be able to remember
that Rod gave me this job on Tuesday. The 12th. Yeah, I'm slow.

But I will try and get the "Weekly Theme" fics competition going again.
Because we need more fics. And more fb. And more contributions from
our new members. And more general discussion.

Rod said the lists were "on life support". In one sense he's quite
wrongwe're bigger than ever, with current membership totals of 552
and 959 members, respectively. Yet for some bizarre reason, the number
of posts this month will be the second-lowest ever.

I'll delve in this subject, and others in future posts, but I want to
keep this post from going on forever.

So let me simply say, I'm excited to be taking on this responsibility,
paralyzing terror aside, and I hope to somehow get things going and make
these lists the exciting places they should be.
