Kirayoshi,

All set-up, but good set-up. Strong descriptive work, particularly on
Dominique Destine, and a good job of reminding us of the divergences
from canon (Anya's pregnancy, Dawn's taking care of herself) without
burying us in them.

Also liked the exposition on the difference between werewolf clawings
and bitings, although what fool wouldn't know that, I can't conceive :)

Dawn and the air horn: oh, yeah, just what we neededanother way for
that kid to make noise. But nice integration of her into the research,
and I loved her teacher taking points off for "syntax errors". I love
BuffySpeak, but the twisted syntax I find so appealing would have any
teacher wishing they were somewhere that's else.

"Bufferoo Bonsai": Buffy's a miniature tree? I thought "little tree"
was Willow? (Well, I always said they were soulmates, I just didn't
know the connection was so deep-rooted...)

I do hope the penthouse doesn't actually have shag carpeting, though. I
think you're meaning deep pile carpeting, which feels like velvet under
your feet. Shag carpeting is that stuff from the 70s which looks like
psychadelic grass.

(had burgundy/white/blue shag carpeting in his room while growing
upwhich was still better than the orange/brown stuff in the living
room. It was like we were growing a McDonald's or something in there
