Just in case I slip and say something spoiler like.

Okay, yes, I'm upset Tara was shot. It's a lame attempt to send
Willow over the edge to give the last few episodes some real bite and
real menace - something that's been missing this entire season.

ME has commented that this season was about growing up and facing the
world and everyday problems. To hell with that. We watch these shows
to escape the garbage of everyday. I don't watch and read Buffy to
see her problems working at a fast food place - even if it does
contain an evil thing in the back. I worked at one for about a
month. I moved on and up - thank you!

Personally, looking at everything - I think Josh and the writers have
fallen back on the old cliche from Slasher movies - have sex, get
killed or unhappy.

The only relationships that even came close to being happy was
Tara/Willow and Xander/Anya. Giles was just getting close to Jenny -
bye bye. Buffy gets close to Angel - evil twist and she has to kill
him. Oz and Willow are cute - furry angst gets in the way. Xander
and Cordelia - too weird to last. Buffy and Riley - too boring,
let's turn to vampire sluts - how weird is that?

Slasher films - have sex - die painfully.

Heck they even did this with Dawn's Halloween. She gets her first
real kiss and he turns out to be a vampire!

Xander and Anya = Xander freaks, both hurt, emotional pain and
breakup.

Tara and Willow - angst, problems, get back to together. Uh oh, they
got happy! Bang! = evil Willow.

Okay - either bring Tara back or hook Buffy up with Willow - we need
a happy relationship for awhile that doesn't turn evil.
