Okay, I really hate to sound like crabby moderator guy all the time.
And I'm thrilled that Aaron (Squall) is giving us his views on the
episode and I can't wait to read them. But sheesh, can't anyone get the
concept of keeping your opinions to yourself until AFTER the DISCUSSION
SPACE?
Aaron, when you post a header that says "Um, a little scared now", it
doesn't take much of a brain to figure out that this is not a happy ep.
And since this is a B/W list, I've pretty much kenned that you're
worried about/for Willow (since Buffy will always be on the show and
she's not the one playing with black magic)
Now you might say that it's episode 20 and I should expect some imminent
badness, but I had actually been hoping that Buffy would talk Willow
down and then Amy and Rack would steal Willow's power or Spike would
return with a new scheme, or anything that didn't mean we'd be stuck
with Evil Willow for more than the one ep. I don't need to be
performing routine deletions of duplicate mails to keep my inbox open
and get spoiled by a heading.
I hate to keep ranting about this, and it's not just you by any means,
so please don't take this personally. But the whole reason for
Discussion/Spoiler Space is to prevent people from being exposed to
things particular to those who know what's going to happen, until the
reader decides he wants to know. One's emotional reactions fall into
this category, because even if they're just a hint, I can take a hint
(even if I don't want to). This stuff belongs below the spacing, not in
the header. Again, no offense or personal attack meant.
Fervently hoping I've completely misinterpreted and made an enormous
mistake,
Dan
