FIC: My Statements pt2

My Statements pt. 2  


"She really said that she thought I hate her?" Dawn released her 
sister, leading her over to the couch.  

"Buffy she didn't say it, but you know Willow. If I didn't talk to 
Janice at least once a night she would know something was up with 
me. When was the last time you had an honest open talk with her, 
told her how you have been feeling since you- got back?" Buffy 
looked down at the carpet.

[I can make this up to her. I'll prove to her that she doesn't have 
to leave.]

"Buffy if you really do love her, then you need to tell her." Dawn 
reached up pushing a strand of Buffy's hair back behind her ear. The 
slayer stood, needing to be up and moving about.  

[Run to Willow tell her everything that I should have been saying 
these past few weeks. Just one problem: Tara.]

"I will. She needs to know that I still love her, that's she my best 
friend."  

"What about the fact that you love her?!" The kitchen timer went 
off. "Buffy?"

"Dawn, Willow loves Tara." The blonde walked out of the room, but 
Dawn followed Buffy into the kitchen, unwilling to let that be the 
end of the conversation.

"She loves you too!" Buffy stopped, her back ramrod straight, being 
burned by the hot dish in her hand, but entirely oblivious to it.

"How? No, never mind it doesn't matter. Even if she is in&love with 
me, Tara loves Willow, and I, Willow could never stop loving 
someone. I won't come between the two of them." Buffy grabbed 
another potholder while motioning for Dawn to carry the salad.

"What if Tara doesn't take Willow back?" She hastily placed the 
salad in the center of the table, not wanting to be caught unawares 
by her sister reply.

"Tara's not stupid." Buffy put some salad into a two bowls, and 
chicken on the plates. "She'll take Willow back, and then they will 
be happy. That's the way it&should be. Happy ending for everyone." 
Dawn sat down, her arms folded across her chest.  

Buffy filled her mouth with salad, hoping that Dawn would let the 
conversation die. No such luck.  

"Whatever. If you want to let the best thing that ever happen to you 
go, then it's your fault. I have to go call Janice." Dawn shoved 
her chair back, and stormed out.

[Of courser it doesn't work. That would be to good of an ending to 
this wonderfully magically painful night.] Buffy swallowed the lump 
of food in her mouth.  

[I hate it when she is right.]


Tara wiped the tears from her eyes. After Anya had left Tara had 
broke down, crying the night away. The sobs that she had been 
keeping back, trying to be strong for Anya during her time of need, 
had taken over along with an onslaught of memories, or rather 
memories she didn't have.

[How can it be this hard? To be with her was a danger to my mind, my 
memories. But that was the dark magic influenced Willow. My Willow 
she wouldn't hurt me.] The blonde heard the other members of her 
dorm stirring, beginning their days.  

[I wish that I could make it all go away. Go back to that point when 
she first used the dark magic and stop her. Save my baby like she 
has saved me.]

Tara paused her thoughts scaring her. Wanting to save Willow from 
herself was one thing, but how could Tara have forgotten that Willow 
used dark magic to save her most of the time.

[Except for one time. When she saved me form me, and my family.  
That was all Willow, no magic, just her caring personality, her love.]

Suddenly Tara knew what she had to do.

[Goddess I am so stupid! How could I ever?] Tara rushed to her 
closet, pulling on the nearest articles of clothing, hurrying to get 
to her heart. As the door shut a letter off a nearby table exited 
along with the blonde, falling to the cement. Next to the feet of a 
certain redhead who had missed seeing the blonde running off.

There would be tales of this day. Talk of a girl who ran through 
campus with a bright pink shirt clutched in her hand. How she ran, 
dressed only in a robe and a pair of blue jeans.


Yes I am evil. But I love Tara's character so don't hate on me. I 
think everyone needs some comedy after this season. Also I know 
Willow wasn't in this one all that much, but I promise she be in the 
next.
