FIC: My Statements pt6

Look I'm early again. (Just don't get used to it.)
Decided to go in a different direction, hope ya like it.

My Statements.
Pt.6

A fireball leapt from Willow hands, incinerating the two vampires. Willow turned back, facing Buffy.

"I'm sorry but I couldn't let you-"

"W-will."

Willow pulled Buffy closer so she could hear the whispered words.

"What?"

"N-need&home."

"Buffy you're bleeding from a vampire bite. I need to get you to the hospital."

Buffy tried to pull away, but the pain stopped her. Willow gently grazed her fingers across Buffy's cheek.

"N-no. Bills."

"Screw the bills! I'll pay for them." Her hand cupped the bruised cheek before her. "You need a doctor, Buffy." Willow's fingers swept down Buffy's neck, right into the slayer's blood. "Oh Goddess!"

[She- she's not going to make it to a hospital.]

"Willow! Buffy!"

"Tara?" [I did magic and Tara saw.] Buffy started to shake, fits that left Willow shaking also. [This is me not caring if she saw me save Buffy.]

"Are you okay?" Tara stopped and felt the magic that charged the air. "Let me see your eyes."

Willow looked into a pair of confused terrified blue eyes.

"Will, they're green." Tara let out a sigh of relief, but her breath was once again taken when she saw the battered body that Willow was holding.

"Uh. Yeah. I- it wasn't dark magic."
"Will, she's bleeding-we need to get her to a hospital."

Willow tried to pick up Buffy, who had lost conscious when Tara arrived, but couldn't.

"Can you help me pick her up?"

Tara stood in shock, blind to anything other than the bleeding slayer. The hero whom had saved the world many times, not to mention her own life, was dying before her very eyes.

[Okay no help from the Tara department. I can do this. It's like riding a bike- a huge and tremendously important bike, but still-] Willow breathed in, centering her thoughts. Slowly Buffy's body hovered over the ground.

[Too long. I need help.]

"Tara?"

Dawn sighed. Not that she hated staying over at Janice's, because who wouldn't want to hang out with their girlfriend? But Dawn missed her family, although she loved the time she and Janice spent together, she wanted Buffy and Willow back home, and everything worked out.

"How you doing babe?" Janice sat down next to Dawn on the carpeted floor. The youngest Summers smiled at Janice. "Just thinking about how Buffy and Willow need to get together. Then they can be as happy as us!"

Janice gazed quizzically at Dawn. Inching closer, until they were hip to hip.

[Much better. Must be in contact with Dawn at all times.]

"Isn't Willow in love with Tara? I know you told me they broke up, but I thought they were `the end all be all of romances'?" Dawn grabbed a pillow off of Janice's bed, and then hit her unsuspecting girlfriend with it.

"Hey!" Dawn giggled at the outraged look on Janice's face.

"I'm sorry, but we are `the end all be all of romances', Buffy and Willow are a distant second."
Janice smiled, delighted when Dawn returned the expression.

[There is something so precious about her. Why can't everyone see it? Maybe Dawn's family and I are truly lucky since we get her to ourselves.]

Dawn felt the silence lengthen as Janice looked intently at her, but was only mildly put off at the lack of talking, Janice's gaze calming her

"Maybe we should go downstairs? Your mom probably has dinner finished by now."

Janice didn't answer, but tilted her head closer to Dawn's. Dawn felt her breath hitch. She had unconsciously wished for this moment, almost from the start of their friendship, but now that it was here she was a bit scared.

"It's okay. We don't have to kiss." Janice redirected her head so that it was on Dawn's shoulder. Dawn brought their hands together, threading her fingers together.
"Thank you."

"Your welcome. Now finish telling me about how we are `the end all be all of relationships'."

[She's used magic. To save Buffy from vampires.]

Tara broke her stare, looking at Willow who appeared to be concentrating.

[I'm so confused. She didn't use magic to save Dawn, Xander, and herself when the demon blood incapacitated Buffy. Or when we were all stuck in Buffy's house. Why would she now? I get that they were in mortal danger, but they were in those situations also. What's so different about this one?]

A slight movement from Buffy's direction caused Tara to turn, thinking Buffy was returning to consciousness.
[She's floating Buffy!]

"Tara! Dammit help me!"

The sharp cry knocked Tara form her inner thoughts.

"What s-sshould I do." Willow had started to lower Buffy to the ground, but lost her concentration when Tara spoke.

"Help me heal her. She's never going to make it the hospital, let alone anywhere else."

[I thought I would be able to get her back home, but she's losing blood profusely.]

Tara kneeled down next to Willow, awaiting instructions from the redhead.

"Put your hands on her arm. It's badly broken, and keeping her from focusing her slayer-healing to her neck wound."

Tara placed her hands gently upon Buffy's right arm. Sending waves of energy to the injured limb. [Please, this will be the last time I'll ever ask for anything, if someone, anyone would grant me the serenity to help save the woman I love!]

Willow once again slowed her breathing, this time feeling a soothing effect as she placed her hands over Buffy's neck.

[Come on Buffy you have to fight!]

Willow poured all of her energy into Buffy's injured neck.

[You have to make it back to me. I can't go on without you.]

Energy coursed from Willow's frame into Buffy's, Tara watched in an astonished silence as Buffy's bruises faded.

[I swear no more avoid-y Willow; we'll talk out our problems. All you have to do is return to me.]

Both of Willow's hands were coated in the slayers blood, but Willow didn't notice the drying essence on her hands.

Willow felt her energy waning, so she pushed harder, forcing her self to concentrate on Buffy only; forgetting Tara, the cemetery, everything surrounding Buffy and herself.

"Don't you dare leave me Buffy Summers!"

Willow slumped down, her body falling on top of the slayer's. Tara tried to lift her up, but a magical force blocked her, shocking her hands.

"I'll never forgive you if you leave me again, Buffy."

I know it was a bit of a detour from my usual route. (It scared me I had lots of different people thinking at the same time, so I edited most of it out.) Let me know if you liked the Dawn bit.
