OT: Link to Pictures from last night's Buffy symposium at ATAS

No, I didn't go, even though it was close by. (Thought I'd be angry and
rude. Also not eligible to buy a ticket, since I'm not a member of the
Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, but I've crashed events there
before...)

Like the length of Aly's hair in the pics, but not the cut (can't
remember who it reminds me of). Nick looks like he lost a little
weight, which is good. Michelle looks interesting with the lighter
hair, and I don't think James is going to be able to grow out all the
peroxide before he has to have it retinted for fall. Alexis Denisof
looks great, Marti looks pregnant, and Joss really needs to lay off of
the Aloha shirts (now there's an addiction!)

There's a link to a good recap of the panel at slayage.com. Only one
real spoiler for Season 7 (a minor one dealing with a location), but
Joss said that the year is going to be about going back to the theme of
"The Joy of Female Empowerment and the Sharing of Same".

Which would be lovely if it meant that Buffy would "share her power"
with Willow (preferably in tastefully lit slo-mo), but I'm afraid we're
just going to have to face what we've feared it would be all along:

More Dawn. (Beware the Spinoff Slayer!)

**Sigh**

Dan

not buying Joss's "Season 6=Reality" defense but grateful that he and
Marti at least admitted the execution was blown.

(I mean, you can't have this soapy "reality" in a show about
vampires...not that there were many of them this year, but that's
another rant.)
