Re: FIC: All alone taking a chance 1/1 B/W PG13

Ida,

Sweetness personified, and well thought out, too. When the ep aired, I
was busy being upset with Buffy for jumping to conclusions about Willow
and blaming her for the murder without much logic. And then I wasn't
happy because it didn't really seem to me like she was open enough in
the final scene.

But I like your idea that Buffy is, naturally, more upset about having
sealed Willow in the cave. While, unlike her lack of trust, this was
something that was pretty much an accident (and a plot contrivance), I
can easily see Buffy stressing more over "I sealed Willow in with a
demon and almost got her killed" than "I didn't trust Willow and jumped
to conclusions". Only natural that she would worry more about the
situation that had the deadlier repercussions. Good work.

And I also liked Buffy's having to balance between not trampling on
Tara's memory, and not wanting to miss her chance again (as she clearly
did after Oz left). It's a delicate balance, definitely.

And the "STSP" fic count is now up to three. Will we eventually surpass
"Beer Bad"? Only time will tell.

"NO! Will-ow belongs to Buff-y!" (Oops, sorry about that, CaveSlayer!)
(Hey, if you think I'm gonna argue with her, you're nuts...)

Glad you shared,

Dan
