Oh, for shame, 'Yoshi! I never would have thought that you would have
stooped to answering HD in kind; I find that sort of thing is totally
Beneath You. Plus you ended up copying HD's work by reusing some of the
same episode titles he employed; allowing for the time lapse between
your posts, they were practically in the Same Time, Same Place.
Clearly, you were not the Teacher's Petyou found School Hard and you
never learned your Lessons. I'm afraid you're very far from being at
the head of The Pack.

Well, enough about Him. HD, I too enjoyed the ficjust reading it
pulled me out of The Dark Age of bitterness I'd been in. The story of
Buffy Summers (middle name Anne) and the girl she has such deep,
Primeval longings forWillow Rosenberg, made of sugar and spice and
maybe even GingerbreadI swear, if I'd been in the midwest while
reading this, I'd have said "Goodbye, Iowa" and headed west just to be
near good old Sunnydale. I enjoy fics that capture the true essence of
Buffy this way; I much prefer them to This Year's Girl, who works at
the Doublemeat Palace and clearly needs Help. No, I'm afraid I tell
anyone within
Earshot that I find the current characters as appealing as a pile of
Dead Things, because they seem so distant from the Buffy and Willow I
fell in love with, the girls who were so patently in love at The Prom,
before their lives seemed to Spiral out of control. Indeed, whenever I
think about how much their story has become a soap opera, a Life Serial,
I am Flooded with rage.

I know some optimists like Kirayoshi think that there will be an
Intervention and the show will return to the days when it gave us The
Harvest of great eps we got in the early seasons, but I'm too much of a
cynic; I've passed that Checkpoint long ago, and now I'm just Listening
to Fear. I suppose I'd never fool anyone if I was playing What's My
Line, but I just think the current ME staff is a bunch of Bad Eggs.

Well, no point carrying on like this. I don't mean to let my bitterness
take away from my appreciation, HD, because you're a Superstar in my
book. And anyway, all things end, that's the law of Entropy. Even I
will soon make an Amends, and stop inserting episode titles in this
manner. In fact, I have but Two to Go.

So let me close by saying that I wish I'd been Selfless enough to
provide you with a list of the Season 7 titles (which you apparently
don't have in Germany), because if I had, I could have heard Buffy tell
Willow, "Never Leave Me".
