"Bring on the Night"---an invitation to discuss and SPOILER rules
Okay, so this has already aired in most of the country. My bad. (I
have to work late on Tues. Darned gainful employment! <g>)
Anyway, let's get some discussion going. Did you like the ep? Hate it?
Were Buffy and Willow presented well, acting believably in character?
Did Sarah and Aly do a good job? (They've been criticized this year,
you may know.) What did you think of the B/W interaction? (If there
was any, that is :( ) Was there any subtext? And so on...
Just remember the SPOILER rules:
1) Tag your posts as "SPOILER for 7.10" or "SPOILER for 'Bring on the
NIght' " or "SPOILER for tonight's ep" or something similar.
DO NOT include SPOILERS for future eps in your post without changing the
Subject Line to reflect this, i.e., "SPOILERS for 7.11" or "SPOILERS for
future eps" or whatever.
2) Always include 20 lines of Spoiler Space in your post. Many people
have email that opens sequentially, i.e., if you delete one message the
next opens automatically, so they may open a Spoiler post without
meaning to. Hence, the Spoiler Space.
Both this and rule #1 must be adhered to in ALL posts, including
replies. The need for proper Subject Lines and Spoiler Space does not
disappear simply because you are replying to another post. And if you
reply to a post that only covers tonight's ep and you include future
Spoilers, you MUST change the subject line to reflect this.
3) Begin the body of your post (either above or below the Spoiler
Space) with a non-Spoilery sentence or two. This prevents people from
getting spoiled when they visit our main page, where the "preview panes"
only show words, not spacing. "OhMyGod!! Xander's a robot!!" is not
how we'd like you to open your post. (Unless you're just kidding, of
course.)
Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Dan
