My thoughts on Lies my Parents Told Me (spoilers)

Well, I was kinda dissapointed... spoiler space starts
now (and please beware, there may be some colorful

Okay, I hope that's enough.

When Spike made with the biting of Principal Wood, I,
to use a wrestling fanboy term, marked out like a
rabid monkey on crack. I thought, "FINALLY, the Big
Bad is back! Now maybe Buffy will grow half a brain
cell and stake his ass!"

Alas, no such luck.

Spanky lets Wood live, and Buffy says that she's
willing to let everyone but Spike die, because he's
their strongest ally. I get that, but the way she
said it made it seem that she was unwilling to
sacrifice Spike even if it meant beating the First.

I, like some people, am starting to think that Spike
doesn't have a soul at all. Like Anya pointed out,
Spike seems to have a get out of jail free card with
Buffy. He acts exactly the same as he did before the
soul, shows absolutely no remorse for anything he's
done... and isn't he supposed to be as nutty as Dru?
What the fuck happened to that?

Given the above, I hope that Buffy and Faith have it
out when she shows up... maybe Faith'll be able to
show Buffy what an idiot she's been.
