OT-"Dirty Girls"
For all those that are genuinely interested (okay, thanks Mom, you
can put your hand down now) here are my thoughts on the latest BtVS
installment "Dirty Girls" guest staring the great Nathan Fillion.

On the Buffy/Willow front the most they shared was a scene at
Shannon's bedside. One thing that did strike me...wow Alyson is
TALL. It's been seven years and I've just noticed. Umm...you know
those guitars that are like DOUBLE guitars?
I hate to say it but I think the last taste for us Buffy/Willow
shippers was the scene of healing at the end of "Same Time, Same
Place." I wish this season could've been more about Willow's
atonement for Veiny Willow than Spike's non-atonement.
Stuff that was great: Buffy admitting to Principal Woody that she
really couldn't sacrifice any of her army in the war. Her
the "mission is everything" stance last time was not the Buffy we've
known and loved. What good is the world if one loses one's own soul?
(To paraphrase St. Paul)
She told Willow that she was the most powerful among them! YES! Not
that stupid Vamp! Hooray!
Xander's speech to the troops. Hit it right on the head, Zep! Buffy
is who she is not 'cause she's "chosen," it's 'cause she's got a
heart bigger than this whole damn 'verse. And if she opened her
heart to a certain Wiccan, the First would become nothing before them.
Gripe time: weren't we teased with an ARMY of uber-Vamps a few months
ago? Sure as heck would be more entertaining than the Bringers.
It makes perfect sense that the last Big Bad would be a murdering
misogynist. And what better way to fight one than with the undying
love between a slayer and her witch...good lord I'm obsessed.
Fillion is great. Stupid Fox...stupid UPN...stupid Sci-Fi. Can't
take the sky from me.
Xander lost an eye! "Out vile jelly" Get the egg whites!
All and all a terrific episode. Only four left...between this
and "Bone" ending...I'm gonna hafta get a social life. Damn.
I'll go away now,
Patrick
"Will&are you asleep?" I heard the soft sound of her voice behind me.
She was finished already.
I take a breath to compose myself. "I can't sleep." I say in shaky
voice.
"Why?" She asked concerned.
"Because& I miss the sound of your heartbeat too much." I let out
with a small whimper.
