Hey All.
In recent discussions about EMPTY PLACES. Some have
basically statated In defence of the Lynch Mob Er I mean Scoobies. That they
have saved Buffy as often as she's pulled they're asses out of the fire. Now I'm
not hiding my prefrence for Buffy. She has Always been my favorite charactor on
the show. But I am really curios how people can say the scales are even between
Slayer and Scoob?
Now I can only come up with two Incidents Of A
scoobie Xander BOTH times. Saving Buffy. Prophecy Girl. Cleary. And Killed By
Death Can anyone come up with others I'm missing?.
Now I Coulda said Giles in Helpless. But that
incident was HIS fault. Same goes for DARK AGE.
And before someone says "Well If Xander Hadn't
saved her in Prophecy Girl. Game Over" I agree but they would hav ALL died
shortly their After. Had Buffy not stoppedThe
Master. Best case scenero? We would have seen The wishverse come true.
Worst Case? Hell on Earth.
I don't mean to imply the Scoobies Haven'tBeen
Important. But BUFFY is the reason they are all still alive. A couple hundred
times over. And if it were me I'd expect a little loyalty Not to mention some
damn gratitude. Hell I dont think theyve ever thanked her. But everytime she's
screwed up in the past 7 years0 they are all there to jump on her aint
they? Seems a TAD ungreatful to me.
Just needed to vent.
