Hmm, I'm a little disappointed to still be getting "Tara knew best/I
should have listened to her" even after Tara ran off (and I do think it
was more jealousy of Buffy/fear of Willow than "I'm respecting myself"
or whatever), but that's a minor gripe. Can't help but note the
contrast between this and the actual S6 as Willow tells the truth and
the others support her. Gee, you'd think the characters were good
people and friends or something. [/bitterness]

As annoyed as I always am for what the character of Dawn meant to the
show as a whole (screwed up memories that never got fixed, Buffy
stripped of her youth, Willow torn from her place in the story), I
constantly have to admit that the character herself worksshe fits
believably into the Scoobies in way that Anya and Tara (and, to an
extent, Riley) never did for me. With you keeping B/W as recognizable
versions of themselves, I can enjoy Dawn as Dawn, and you did a good job
of writing her here.
