Hello,

First and foremost I'd like to thank each and everyone of you who has
written to me and expressed their condolences to me and my family.

I can't tell you what it was like for me to point out all the replies
to one of my brothers. To say he was surprised would be an
understatement.

In about five hours time, we will be laying my father to rest.

We had the viewing yesterday evening and I almost couldn't enter the
room. It took three attempts to actually get myself to go in. It made
me realize, seeing the casket there, that yes, my dad is gone.

But never forgotten.

As I stated earlier, I thank each and every one of you; people I
know, as well as self-proclaimed, "Newbies".

Two of you out there have written to me and wondered if I remembered
them. One a writer who hasn't graced the keyboard for a while, and
the other... a fan/friend. To them I say, "Yes, I remember you."

I may take one of you up on your offer, I'm not sure when, but I'll
let you know one way or another.

I can't sleep.

I doubt I'll be able to sleep even after I've finished this. I've
found that I've spent many early morning hours reading, it's given me
a chance to "get away", if only for a half hour or so. So my deepest
thanks to the bards out there.

Thank you once again.

To those of you who have lost someone recently, you too have my
sincerest sympathies and don't be surprised to hear from me off list
sometime soon.
