Title:  Seizing The Moment In Rome

Rating:  Hmm...  It's not going to be more graphic than the show 
got, though the show got pretty graphic for American Prime Time.  
So, whatever rating you'd give the show when it did these things.
Disclaimer:  Buffy, Willow, Dawn, and whoever else is mentioned or 
turns up is owned by Mutant Enemy and Fox.  I own nothing but love 
for the characters.
Spoilers:  Everything from BtVS, and Angel through "Shells".
Summary:  Continuing the In Rome series, following Conversations, 
Complications, Phone Conversation, and Understandings.  Willow's 
visiting Buffy and Dawn in Rome.  Dawn's playing matchmaker.  
Willow's learned of Buffy's previous romance with Faith, and that 
everybody but her knew how she and Buffy felt about each other.  
Buffy, meanwhile, has come to some conclusions after a conversation 
with Whistler.  It's time to take her own advice she gave to Willow 
long ago, and seize the moment.



Willow and Dawn are surrounded by magical items.  They've been 
spellcasting...

Dawn:  So, am I good?

Willow:  ARE you?!!  I wasn't this far along at your age!

Dawn:  You didn't have powerful Wiccas around to learn from.

Willow:  I don't remember training you in this.

Dawn:  I watch.  I practice.  I learn.

Willow:  Just like your sister.  That's how Slayers pick up how to 
do everything so quickly, you know.

Dawn:  Yeah...  I AM made from her blood.  So why am I not a Slayer?

Willow:  Isn't that what Giles is looking into?

Dawn:  Yeah, and he called...  Said he found something big.  About 
me.

Willow:  Ooh, what was it?

Dawn:  He wouldn't tell me over the phone.  Said it was best he 
discussed it in person.  Xander's coming, too.  Told me it wasn't 
anything bad, so not to worry.  I'm still nervous, though.

Willow:  Xander's coming?  Giles is being cryptic.  

Dawn:  What else is new?  Well, we'll know when he gets here.  Gotta 
say I'm looking forward to the old gang being in one place, again.

Willow:  Me, too.  It's been way too long.  

Buffy walks in, fresh from hunting...

Willow:  Buffy!  Hi!  (nervous)  Buffy?

Buffy:  (looking VERY preditory)  Willow...  (looks Willow over up 
and down, smiles)

Willow:  Um, back from slaying, I see...  Y-you hungry?

Buffy:  Uh huh...  Not for food, though...

Dawn:  (very happy)  And THAT'S my cue to leave you two alone!  

Buffy:  (appreciative)  Thanks, Dawn.

Willow:  Um, you don't HAVE to go...

Dawn:  What Buffy needs, I can't give her.  Have fun!  (leaves room)

Willow:  Gulp...

Buffy:  Will...  There's been a lot unsaid between us...

Willow:  (nervous)  Um, Giles and Xander are coming!  

Buffy:  That's great.  I've missed them.  They're not the only ones 
who'll be coming...

Willow:  They'll have news about Dawn!

Buffy:  (mention of Dawn snaps her out of it)  Ah!  

Willow:  She's really coming along with the magic.  She's a prodigy.

Buffy:  AND the hacking.  You wouldn't believe what's in the 
Vatican's vaults.

Willow:  Heh...  I've been a bad influence on her.

Buffy:  You'd think she'd take more after me.

Willow:  She DOES take after you.  Trust me, I notice.

Buffy:  She was made from my blood...  So, why doesn't she look like 
me?

Willow:  I guess we'll find out. 

Buffy:  She's grown into a remarkable young woman, though.

Willow:  Yeah, our little girl's all grown up...

Buffy:  Did Giles give any hints about what he found?

Willow:  No, but he said it wasn't anything bad.

Buffy: (relieved)  Ah, good.  So, we'll find out when they get 
here.  And, I can get back to what I was doing...  (clasps her hands 
around Willow)

Willow:  A-and that was?

Buffy:  Seizing the moment.  (Willow finds Buffy's toungue in her 
mouth)

Later...

Willow and Buffy are naked...  Willow with a rapturous expression.

Willow:  Wow...  That was...

Buffy:  You like?

Willow:  Oh yeah...  Better than I dreamed...

Buffy:  So, do I get a reward?

Willow:  Yeah...  (begins exploring)  Wow...  It HAS been a while 
for you...  I'll be gentle.

Buffy:  I'm a Slayer.  Yuo don't have to be gentle.

Willow:  I'll be gentle.

Later...

Buffy:  (eyes closed) Ah...  ah...  AHHH!!!  (hears door opening)  
YESSS!!!  (opens eyes, sees something, eyes widen)  Faith!!!

Willow:  What?  WHAT?!!!  (upset)  I-I...  We finally...  And...  
You climax, and you yell HER name?!!!

Buffy:  No, no, Will, it's not that...

Willow:  (eyes darkening)  Oh, ISN'T it?!!!  Then what IS it?!!!

Buffy:  Faith's standing in the doorway.

Willow:  (scoffs)  Yeah, Faith's standing in the doorway...  THAT'S 
the LAMEST excuse I ever HEARD!!!

Buffy:  Willow, I love you, but Faith really IS standing in the 
doorway!

Willow:  Right!  You yelled out her name because she walked in on 
us!  Come up with something I can't easily disprove, at least!  All 
I'd have to do is look around to disprove THAT one!!!

Buffy:  So...  Why don't you look around?

Willow:  Um, I don't HAVE to!  I...  KNOW she's not standing there.  
I KNOW your ex-girlfriend with psychotic tendencies didn't just walk 
in and see me...  and you...  OK, I'll look around and PROVE she's 
not there!  (looks around)  Eep!

Faith:  (standing in dooway, arms crossed, smirk on her face)  B.  
Red.  Lookin' good...  Come at a bad time?
