re: [buffywantswillow] FIC: Episode 1 in T.C.P.S. "Home is Where the Stake is." (2/6)
Kimber.
And so it begins.
This is, I trust, the first part of the story you've been torturing us with. The mondo-epic that
you have said will dwarf the humble efforts of us fellow bards, yea, even unto your own
impressive "Road" series.
So far, I'm intrigued. By simply changing the starting point, like you have done, you change
everything to come after. So far, this reminds me of Pat Kelly's classic "Two of a Kind
Love" series, which I think was the first Buffy/Willow story most of us on the list read.
Certainly the first one for me. And still one of the best.
And every indication is that your new effort will rank up there with the best. Count on me to
be there for the ride.
(Oh, on a slightly off-topic note, for those of you who are wondering, I hope to have the
second half of "Ghost of a Chance" up in a couple of days. After that, I'll be working on
"Triptych", a three-parter that immediately follows "Somewhere I Have Never Travelled",
and deals with some subplots. Buffy and Willow will still be there, but I have more tales to
tell about this wonderful cast. After that, I'm going to play catch up on "Planet of Darkness",
then get to the promised main threat in "Somewhere". That doesn't count any odd ideas I get
along the way. Those are my plans for now.)
Talk at you later,

"Uh, I love you guys too. Uh, guys, oxygen, becoming an issue!"
