Powerful stuff, Red. Vivid imagery, and a tough as nails story.

There's a small part of me that wants to know for sure that Buffy will be released by story's 
end, and be reunited with her daughter and Willow. Kinda like in "Princess Bride" when 
Peter Falk stops in mid-story and tells his grandson, "She doesn't get eaten by the eels." I 
know that happy endings aren't guaranteed on the series, why should they be in the fanfics. 
I'll keep looking for this one. It's a tough one to drop.
