True as far as I know. I should have mentioned that. Blackstar is in the
United Kingdom, Ireland I think, and as such, they tend to use PAL. After
all, it is the better format. Not that that helped Betamax at all, hey.
Of course, further considering that I and most of my friends have systems
capable of playing both PAL and NTSC, it doesn't tend to be my first
thought.

The problem as far as I'm aware is the tapes they are selling are in PAL
and not NTSC (is that the correct name?). Anyways at least as far as the
US is concerned most VHS/TV's won't play the tapes.
