Note: I thought I would make an attempt to hide my
dark side for a few moments and try something a little
diffrent. So here I go with my first attempt at a
song fic. Please let me know what you think, I need
the feedback to make sure I am not losing it. Hope
you enjoy.

Willow?s heart was beating a mile a minuet as she
stood before the mirror nervously adjusting her gown. 
It had been four years ago just after they had
fought the mayor and won that her whole life had
changed. She remembered sitting in the living room at
Buffy?s house afterwards noticing that her best friend
seemed to be lost in herself. 

?Buffy what?s wrong,? Willow inquired noticing that
her best friend seemed not to want to answer.

Willow had to know what was going on in Buffy?s mind
so she tried again this time using the resolve face,
?Buffy look at me, what's wrong?

Buffy paused for a few seconds then softly spoke, ?A
few months ago I realized something rather important
about how I feel and I don?t know what to do about it?

?Tell me maybe I can help?

?I would love to tell you, but I am afraid to, afraid
that what it might do to us?

?Buffy, whatever it is I will be here for you, just
tell me?

?I don?t know how to tell you Wills?

Willow looked into the slayers eyes seeing the
confusion and the fear that filled them, ?If you can?t
tell me then could you show me? Willow inquired trying
to find away to learn what was bothering Buffy.

Buffy stood up and walked over to Willow and knelt
down by the chair she was sitting in. Buffy then took
Willows chin in her right hand and leaned up close to
the redhead. As Buffy?s lips gently pressed up
against Willows the hacker felt every neuron in her
body firing at once, it was finally happening. 

?I will be strong I will be faithful
'cause I'm counting on

A new beginning
A reason for living
A deeper meaning?

That kiss had changed both of there lives forever. 
The very next day she had broken things off with Oz
and hoped that he would understand. Sure she cared 
for him but now all her dreams were coming true, for
the first time she knew she had a chance to be with
the one person she loved more than anything else.

A tear rolled down Willow?s cheek as she stood there
smiling into the mirror, she could hardly believe that
it had been four years already. College had been
rough for the two off them but together they had
survived not only the assaults from the Hellsmouth but
the cruelty and narrow minds of some of their fellow
classmates. They had been called names and glared at.
Sure the words hurt but only for a second because
both of them realized that no matter what the rest of
the world thought they were together and that they
could face anything the world through at them. It
helped allot that both their parents were fairly
understanding about it, though it took hers almost a
year before t hey got used to the Idea she was with
Buffy and warmed up to her love.

As Willow sat down at the table in her room she began
to work on her hair, and as she did the events of this
last year filled her mind. She had cried at the
hospital when they learned that Buffy might never walk
again, the result of the battle in which she had
slayed Spike and not only closed the Hellsmouth but
destroyed it. The council had come and released her
from being a slayer, then pleaded with her love to
become a watcher, but Buffy had said no. A week later
Buffy was back at the apartment and they begun to
build a new life together. It had been hard at first
as Buffy learned to deal with the limitations that had
been placed on her from the injury, and it almost
broke Willow heart when she would watch as Buffy tried
to make herself stand up in the physical therapy she
had to go to three times a week. Then of course they
had to find another apartment because the one they
were in was not really designed for wheelchairs, but
they both had know that none of it mattered because
they had each other. 

?And when the stars are shining

There was a knock at the door and Willow got up from
the table and answered it, ?Hi Dad?

?Are you about ready?

?I?m ready, I just had been thinking about everything
Buffy and I had been through and about how I long both
of us have waited for this day. I know it?s not what
you and Mom expected but I do love her?

?Sweetheart, were both really proud of you. I admit
it took me a while to get used to the fact that you
and Buffy were together but now the fact that she is a
girl doesn?t really matter. as long as the two off
you are happy, I?m happy. Besides Buffy is a very
special person who loves you more than anyone would
think possible.?

After they had finished talking Mr. Rosenberg took his
daughters arm and led her out of the room towards her
future.

The organ played as Willow walked Down the Isle with
her father. Buffy stood up by the rabbi leaning on a
cane that she used for support. Willow thought how
Beautiful she looked decked out in the white tuxedo
she wore. Finally all her dreams were coming true, in
a few short minuets she was going to be Willow
Rosenberg-Summers.
