You worked in a long term facility...I'll admit, I've seen many of the 
behaviors you've noted in that kind of a facility. I work in a short term 
facility, where the average client only stays for about a week, maybe 
two...their are some that end up staying for a month...but these are usually 
high functioning people who just aren't ready to be released. They are 
usually very helpful in showing the other clients the ropes...so to speak.

Facilities do tend to be very understaffed and that can lead to tension.
