In case anyone is inteested internal evidence within the show has
placed Buffys date of birth between the 17th and 21st of January
1981. This fits in with Season 1 starting partway through the
1996/97 school year and Buffy being 16 in 'Prophesy Girl'.
Comments about her experience in slaying would tend to indicate
that she was called not later than late spring/early summer, and
possibly as early as early spring, 1996.
