Lack of Fic C&C

No, this is not a commentary on anyone else; just me. After all my begging for
feedback, I hope the other scribes out there will forgive my lack of it
recently. I recently changed jobs (where my boss is named Tara and another
young lady in the building looks quite similar to Eliza Dushku... though not as
buxom), and I have been trying to work around a minor bit of writer's block
concerning Interention (not to mention the fact that my "v" key has been working
half-time). So, in lieu of individual posts for each Fic, here is bulk praise
(ala Bill LaBarbera) for the Fics I have enjoyed over the last three weeks.

Delicate Cruelty by Erin
Hmmm... an evil, vampiric priest. Well, other than the vampire part, he doesn't
seem that different from normal priests. :) Should be interesting to see what
kind of angle you work to get Beefstick turned into mulch (oops, did I say
that?). Well, I can hope, anyway. With Faith out of jail and your new
"headman" vampire on the move, I expect interesting developments.

Sappho's Spell / Psych Ward Blues by Christeen Demons
Where to begin (other than I still haven't had time to read 3 or 4 yet)?
Lovely. The touch with calling Buffy "Sarah" throws the whole Memorex question
into play: Is it real, or is it...? Since I have not read the latter two parts,
I can't fully praise the arc, but if this was the work of Ira Rosenberg, all I
have to say is I'm glad I'm not the one writing this. He wouldn't have been in
a recognizable shape once Buffy was out... provided she still knows who she is
when she does get out.

Day's End by Lowdeen
Having read the rest of the series, I can honestly say... "Awwww." Very
touching ending, though it would have been nice to see Riley take one meant for
Faith. Is it just me, or do we all have a preference against that particular
character (not the actor... Marc seems okay)? Anyway, here's another vote for a
follow-up!

If Destiny Wills by Alex P.
Okay, that's it, mister, no more trips to the S&M shop for you. Ow. Let me
re-state that: having been on both the giving and receiving end of a mindfuck
(more the former than the latter), it should be interesting to see how this
undermining of Buffy's self-confidence begins to affect her Slaying ability.
Will it make her more reckless? Will it cause her to withdraw, to become
unconcerned? Only you know, and until you post it, we'll all be wondering!

Okay, now, there are still several Fics I have not gotten around to reading (the
new job is a little draining... though not stressful, blessedly), which is why
there aren't more mentioned. Once I get done reading some more, I'll post
another one of these. If I really have the energy, maybe I can flesh out a few
more pages of the middle of Ch IV of Intervention (yes, the ending is written,
and another guest makes an appearance - oh, Angel is getting dragged into this,
too, but that isn't the special guest).
