Would you?:-) I think Merick knows that something happens...since Willow 
told him he was the second watcher she knows, but technically Buffy's 
first...I think Watchers leave Slayers in one of two potential ways...Dying 
or retiring...well possibly leaving the guild as well, or maybe getting 
reassigned...forget I said that.
