Disclaimer: Unfortunately I do not own any of the BtVS characters 
(extremely sad face), they belong to Joss. I'm only taking them out 
to play, it's for fun, and nothing more.

Pairing: B/W of sorts
Notes: A few weeks back our listmom came out with a weekly theme in 
which one of the samples was to follow Pat's example (AKA the way 
cool fic in which he ended up in Sunnydale) and toss either yourself 
or your favorite author into the Buffyverse, fortunately she didn't 
specify which Buffyverse so with out further ado it's time to go play 
in the woods. Beer foamy, feedback good.

Buffy looked over at the sexy red fox and smilled, "You know I really 
don't like the music here when the lounge lizards have their day off, 
I mean come on who wants to listen to a bunch of Armadillos singing 
country music."

"Yeah, no what you mean, maybe we could get Xander her to do some of 
his tricks for everyone, I hear they have a scooter in back."

The escaped circus monkey shook his head as his two friends began 
laughing, "Great now your making with the jokes too."

"Sorry Xander, I just couldn't resist, after you look so cute in that 
fez of yours," replied Willow in between giggles.

"Come on, you two could give it a rest every now and then," piped up 
Cordelia in defense of her boyfriend.

Before either of them could reply Angel walked over to the booth, "I 
hate to interrupt your daily picking on of Xander but does that 
strike you as strange," replied the vampire Teddy bear as he pointed 
to the Koala that had just walked into Tadpole pond chewing on a 
eucalypt leave.

"Give it a rest already, I mean everything is not doom and gloom. So 
he likes leaves, doesn't mean anything." Retorted the bunny slayer

Willow leaned over and kissed the blonde rabbit on the cheek, "Um, 
sweetheart I don't think that is what Angel meant."

Buffy gave Willow a look of confusion, "Then what did he mean."

"That it is kinda strange for a Koala to come walking in here."

"Why?"

"For one thing I don't ever recall ever seeing any Koalas around here 
except in that circus brochure that Xander showed up with."

"She's right Buffy, from what I know from my days in the circus 
Koalas come from a land that is very far away from here," Replied the 
escaped circus monkey.

"Well then it looks as if we should investigate," said the bunny 
slayer.

The five of them walked over to the Koala who had taken a booth of in 
the corner.
 
"Hello I'm Buffy and this is Willow."

I'm...uh let me see, I guess you can call me Sammy Koloa."

Sammy then looked at the others and smiled, "I assume you are Xander, 
Cordelia, and Angel."

"How did you know that," demanded the Bunny slayer.

"Have a seat and I will explain."

Willow and Buffy sat down in the booth next to the Koloa who seemed 
quite pleased by that as the other three took a seat accrosed from 
them. Buffy looked at Sammy, "So start talkin'"

"Well till about an hour ago I was a human living in Germany. I was 
typing on my computer writing some fan fiction why I downloaded MP3's 
from Napster, thenb suddenly my screen began to glow, next thing I 
know I'm standing outside chewing on this leaf, which by the way is 
quite tasty."

"OK, I heard you but it didn't make any sense," replied Buffy.

"Tell me about it, I was there for it live and it doesn't make any 
sense to me either, maybe we should talk to Giles."

"Xander piped in, "Alright I don't know about you guys but the fact 
that hs Kola seems to know all about us is really starting to worry 
me."

"Relax monkey boy, I'm harmless. It's not like I'm going to force 
you to ride a scooter or anything."

Buffy and Willow began to laugh out loud as the rest of the group was 
taken aback by the Koala's unexpected Xander joke.

"I like him," replied the Bunny slayer.

"Me too," added the red fox.

Angel stared at Willow and Buffy for a moment then looked at Sammy, " 
I think we are forgetting the point here. You said you were human 
just a little while ago until something happened and you ended up 
here as a koala, not to mention the fact that Xander brought up, 
about how you seem to know all of us."

Sammy leaned over to the Red Fox and Blonde Rabbit, "Is he always 
like this."

"'fraid so," responded Buffy.

Sammy looked at the vampire teddy bear and smiled, "Point taken, let 
me finish this leaf and then we can go to Giles, OK."

"I really think we should go now," replied Angel."

"Dude, take chill pill already, what's the worst thing that could 
happen by us hanging out for a little bit, maybe this infernal music 
will drive us nuts or even worst you might catch fleas from the 
circus monkey."

Xander's eyes got real wide, "Hey!"

"I know you resemble that remark,: replied Sammy the koala.

"Great now there's three of them," replied Xander as Buffy, Willow, 
and Sammy started laughing uncontrollably.

Giles flew down from his tree and sat on a long in front of the 
group. After he had finished listening to the koala's story he 
thought for a moment then spoke, "I see, but that doesn't explain how 
you seem to know all of us." replied the owl.

"well it's kinda hard to explain but I will try. where I come from 
there is a TV show called Buffy the Vampire slayer, which happens to 
be my favorite show by the way even though I'm usually about at least 
a season behind unless I get some tapes from the states, which is a 
cool thing, after all I haven't been in Germany that long and have a 
lot of trouble following it over there and all, also ...."

Giles cleared his throat rather loudly causing the koala to stop his 
rambling, "While I'm sure you could most likely talk about this for 
quite some time, it doesn't help us get any closer to what is going 
on here, culd you try to stay on tract."

"Well on this show all of you are human, but have the same name and 
similar personality's except for a few relationships that I won't 
bore you with. So that's how I know you, but beyond that I really 
don't know much except for bits and pieces of information from a few 
stories, you see this place is very different form the show and 
everything, but it does sorta ressemble some fanfic."

"I see, I need to do some research, it could take a few days and you 
can stay with me."

"Sounds cool," replied Sammy before turning to Buffy and Willow, "So 
what is fun to do around here."

Well Tadpole pond is about it, but that is only when the lounge 
lizards are playing," replied Willow.

"I know, we could pick on Xander some more," said the Bunny slayer.

"Sounds good to me but I have a better Idea," replied Sammy.

"What?" asked Buffy.

"In this particular place would there happen to be someone know as 
Riley."

"Yeah, he's a weasel who tried to frame Willow, the big jerks locked 
up in slim marsh prison."

"Cool, tell me what you think about this," Sammy walked over to 
Willow and Buffy and whispered in their ears, " we sneak over their 
and taunt him for awhile, then after words we could sneak over to 
Xander's and TP his place."

Both Willow and Buffy shook their heads in agreement, "Giles we're 
taking Sammy out to show him around, be back in a bit."

Angel watched as the three of them took off, he couldn't believe it, 
all this time he had tried unsuccessfully to be close to the two of 
them and this half insane koala does it in just a few hours, maybe he 
should take a lesson from Sammy and lighten up a bit.

Buffy and Willow laid on their bed laughing their heads off, "I can't 
believe how much fun we had tonight," said Willow in between chuckles.

"Yeah, that Sammy is quite a character, I only wish we would have 
thought of taunting Riley and the other weasels like that, I mean it 
was all most to much fun."

"Yeah, know what you mean. Did you see how mad they got when Sammy 
started singing off key."

"Sure did, thought they were going to try and break out to get to 
him, what was that song again."

"I think he called it Pop goes the Weasel."

Giles sat at the booth watching Sammy do what he referred to as a 
happy dance to the techno sounds of the lounge lizards. Xander and 
Cordelia walked over to him, "Hey G-man find anything out."

"Yes it would appear that some how he managed to get sucked into a 
reoccurring vortex, within a week or so he should return back to his 
own world, however I don't know if I can last that long."

"What do you mean."

"I mean he is driving me nuts, part of it isn't his fault but some of 
it is. I mean do you know what it is like to live with a koala, he 
only eats eucalypt leaves, which are quite expensive here and 
considering he showed up without any money I have to pay for them.  
But I really can't hold that against him. However he did managed to 
flood my bathroom when he tried to use the tub as a swimming pool, 
and he broke eight glasses in my living room trying to learn how to 
juggle, plus there is the fact that my ears have been assaulted by 
what he calls gothic rock and punk rock."

Xander let out a sigh, "Know what you mean G-man, last night someone 
threw toilet paper all over my place, I'm not totally sure but I 
think Sammy, Buffy, and Willow were behind it."

Giles had finished telling everyone about why he believed Sammy had 
showed up in the forest and how it would correct itself in a couple 
of weeks.

"Sounds cool, I could handle hanging out in this world for awhile.  
Anybody up for some fun." replied Sammy the Koloa 

"Sure, what have you got in mind." replied Buffy and Willow in unison.

"Well this band seems way cooler than last nights, so we could hang 
out here for a while as we plot tonight's events and make circus 
jokes."
