Slashing the movies

Hey,


So, here I am, reading for what must be the 100th time Janine's
Haunting-based fic and crying over the fact that I finally was forced to
return Show me love( i could have bought about 4 tapes for the price i
paid , pathetic , isn't it ? ) and all of the sudden ...ok , not all of
the sudden, but it hit me that there's next to none movie based fics on
the net, at least dealing with femslash ( Star Wars seems to have a lot
of slash, but it's male...) and I was kind of wondering why is that?

I think there are quite a few movies that could be slashed or that
already have slash content in it...From the obvious ones, like Bound,
Show me love, Boys don't cry ....and the less obvious ones, like The
Haunting (well, it was a little obvious, but still...) , Girl
Interrupted, The In Crow, Boys and Girls, Bring it On ( okay, i just saw
them, so they're fresh in my mind...) ...you guys get the point....The
characters and situations are there and just need to be
explored....Scenes we didn't get to see , after the credits roll, point
of view, what if and many others that could easily make a good fic but
aren't...

So thinking that way, i just was left why they aren't there ...Does
anyone has any idea...Or if they are, where i could find
them(pleasepleasepleaseplease...) ....
