But 2. the f***head always speaks truth regardless of how tough or painful
it is. If 'tis truth...

It would be an interesting arc at least. Buffy gets to blame her mother,
however unfairly, for the death of the Red Mage. Serious falling out
there. And we've already seen the implication that Cordy and ... her Star
(?) are going to break up. More falling out. If the better story calls
for the death of Willow, then regardless of how painful it is, Willow
should die. It would suck, but art is hard.
