Rape scenes can be one of the most difficult things to write. It's a
difficult balancing act of between describing enough of the horrific trauma
of the rape and NOT describing it in such a manner as to make it seem like
you are 'a sick bastard who likes rape'.

At the begining of my story 'Brave New World' I have a scene where the
Master and Evil Willow rape Buffy. I must have written and rewritten that
scene 6-7 times and I am still nervous about it. I have never recieved a
flame on it though so I'm a little happy that I did go ahead and use it. It
sets the tone for the pit of hell into which Buffy has fallen and from which
she must struggle to rise out of.

Cordelia being raped by Faith, not telling anyone and then later (post
Sanctuary) Faith trying to make amends sounds like a pretty interesting and
powerful challange.
