All I can say after reading this is; ZOINKS!

Buffy might be joining the original Scooby gang! According to the Ain't It Cool News site (http//:www.aint-it-cool-news.com ) Sarah Michelle Gellar is up to play Daphne in a live action movie based on Scooby Doo, opposite her real-life boyfriend Freddie Prinze Jr. as Fred. Christina Ricci(Wednesday Addams in "The Addams Family" and Katrina Van Tassel in "Sleepy Hollow") is rumored for the part of Velma. No word on who's Shaggy, or how they'll handle the dog.

So break out your Scooby snacks, and don't lose your glasses. And dear God, don't let Freddie Prinze Jr. wear an ascot!
