Clichés (Thoughts)

Hey,
I'm pretty proud of myself after reading this, considering I've avoided
almost every cliché during my. Some points though. This may turn into a
recap of Two Worlds BTW.
They keep having girls I think is because well... Buffy is the Slayer and I
did not picture them having a son, plus I can't write male characters worth
shit so I was kind of saving my behind for later on <g>
Actually I think the low fuss about the "sama-sex" wedding, just reflects
the liberal attitude of the people who write B/W stories. I like weddings,
hope to have one or two myself one day.
Yes we humble writers tend to beef up Willow's powers (I do it to every
other character I come across), Alex had some thoughts on this and well
great mind thinks alike, so Joss was bound to pick up on it :)
Writing a single relationship for a number of chapters can get boring, so
we expand. I admit to my overkill in Two Worlds at one point, when I didn't
have enough space in each chapter for all the different couples. Why you
think I fazed out Amy and the Elf King, killed Xare, split up Stjar'a and
Cordy and then for good measure made sure that Joyce was dead for ten
chapters.
I killed Willow I admit it, well sorta, but I hate to think what you would
have done to me if I had killed a pregnant Buffy. Ouch! Also here I think
that it's more "fun" writing a angsty Buffy cause I don'think Willow would
crack, blame herself and the push on like Buffy tends to do in our writings.
Last but not least the J/G pairing, <shivers> I hate it although I planned
it at one stage for TT&T. It's been used to often people should do something
interesting with these two. Not that I'm doing anything of interest. Just
wait and see what has happened between Giles and Faith while Two Worlds has
been running it's course >:)

Anyway I'm off for now,
Cilia
