SPOILERS: Welcome To The Hellmouth & The Harvest

Willow was sitting at the bar waiting or Xander to show up. She
really wanted to see him. She was hoping he would walk in and ask her
to dance, or even better kiss her. That would make her life complete.

"Hey!"

Willow turned around and saw the new girl standing next to her, "Oh
Hi!"

Willow watched as the new girl, Buffy Summers, sat down on a stool
next to her. The new girl was actually sitting now next to the school
nerd. Willow wasn't sure if she should be happy or afraid.

"Hi" Willow said again.

"Oh you're here with someone?"

"No, I'm just here, thought Xander was going to show up."

"Oh, are you guys going out?"

"No, we're just friends. We used to go out, but we broke up."

"How come?"

"He stole my Barbie." Willow saw the Buffy was confused, "Oh we were
five."

"Oh."

"I-I-I don't actually date a whole lot.....lately." Willow tried to
smile.

"Why not?"

"Well, when I'm with a boy I like, it's hard for me to say anything
cool, or, or witty, or at all. I-I can usually make a few vowel
sounds, and then I have to go away." Willow said truthfully.

"It's not *that* bad." Buffy tried to comfort Willow's ego.

" No, i-it is. I think boys are more interested in a girl who can
talk."

" You really *haven't* been dating lately"

"It's probably easy for you." Willow said wishing she was Buffy
Summers.

" Yeah, real easy." Buffy said not meaning a word of it.

" I-I mean you don't seem too shy."

" Well, my philosophy, do you wanna hear my philosophy?"

" Yeah, I do!" And Willow really did.

"Life is short."

"Life is short." Willow repeated.

" Not original, I'll grant you, but it's true. You know? Why waste
time being all shy and worrying about some guy, and if he's gonna
laugh at you. Seize the moment, 'cause tomorrow you might be dead."

"Oh that's nice." Willow said worried.

Willow noticed that Buffy was staring up to the upper areas of the
club. Willow didn't see who she was looking at but she figured it was
either Cordelia or some boy that Buffy had come with. Buffy promised
to return to continue their talk but Willow didn't really think she
would. A little while later Willow saw a guy walk in that was kind of
cute.

"Life is short." Willow said to herself and then walk to where the
boy was.

Willow and the boy, named Tomas, danced for a little while. The boy's
hands were a little cold but he was nice. Willow enjoyed dancing with
him. And she wasn't even a little shy with him. Maybe Buffy was
right. There was no time to be shy. Life was short.

"Do you want to go outside for a bit?" The boy asked.

"Sure." Willow smiled.

The boy put his arm around Willow, which made her stomach go all
jumpy. Willow knew that if she opened her mouth she would babble
something stupid so she kept her mouth shut and followed the boy
outside.

Tomas and Willow walked through the dark and ended up at a graveyard
where Willow made a comment about it being dark. She immediately knew
it was a stupid comment when the boy said it was night.

When Willow saw the mausoleum she began to panic big time. She had
seen movies where women died in places like these. This was not what
she meant by seize the moment.

The next thing Willow knew there was a woman with them.....and Jessie.
That's when things got very confusing.....and kinky. The woman was
talking about sharing. Now this was not what Willow wanted. Tomas
called her Darla and Willow definitely didn't like Darla.

Her first instinct was to take Jessie and get the Hell out of dodge
but that didn't seem to be an option, especially when she saw Darla's
face.......change. This was bad. This was real bad.

"Well, this is nice. I-it's a little bare, but a dash of paint, a ew
throw pillows... call it home!"

Willow turned around and saw Buffy and Xander standing by the entrance
to the mausoleum. She had never been more happy to see anyone in her
life.

"Who the hell are you!" Darla asked angrily.

" You mean there's actually someone in this town who doesn't know
already? Whew, that's a relief, I'm telling you! Having a secret
identity in this town is a job of work."

Willow tried to concentrate on what was going on but she was stuck on
what Buffy said. A secret? What kind of secret could someone like
Buffy have?

Willow didn't have much time to consider it. Within moments she was
running for her life. Running as fast as she could to get away. And
she still didn't know what she was running away from. All she knew is
it was bad...... and that was a good enough reason to run.

They didn't get far however. Soon Jessie, Xander, and Willow were
surrounded by a group of.....people who looked mean. Willow tried
to fight them off but they were too strong. The next thing she knew
Buffy literally though one of them off her.

Willow went to check on Xander. That's when she noticed that Jessie
was missing.

" Okay, this is where I have a problem. See, because we're talking
about vampires. We're having a *talk* with vampires in it." Xander
said somewhere between confused and angry.

"Is that what we saw last night?" Willow asked.

" No. No, th-those weren't vampires, those were just guys in
thundering need of a facial. Or maybe they had rabies. It could have
been rabies. A-and that guy turning to dust? Just a trick of light. "

Willow noticed Xander giving Buffy a look .

"That's exactly what I said the first time I saw a vampire. Well,
after I was done with the screaming part."

Willow needed to sit down but as Buffy said she was already sitting
down. This was just all too weird. Vampires? There was no such
thing as vampire. Right? The new librarian, Mr. Giles, Xander,
Willow and Buffy were having a conversation about real live vampires.

Soon the conversation turned to saving Jessie. Xander wanted to help
but Willow knew that they were no match for....vampires. Everyone
else knew it too, everyone except for Xander.

They considered all the options and finally they came up with one.
And Willow had the key. She was a hacker and soon she had the plans
for a tunnel. The next thing she knew she was hunting for a vampire.

And here she thought nothing interesting ever happened in Sunnydale.
