Thanks for reading it and I'm glad you're enjoying it. 

While I was using the Spike as the Ripper idea what I was really calling
attention to was the first and last of the Ripper murders. 

The first almost timid mildly mutilated Martha Tabram being the
council's sacrifice to call Dracula to their Hellmouth, presumably to
cut some sort of deal with him, to the brutal and vicious dissection of
Mary Jane Kelly, suspected to have been done by Dracula to help him
escape the vicinity of his overwhelming grief after losing his beloved
again.

How's that for pompous and long winded.

You are right the Dracula in my story is only the name my character has
used since the 1430s he's been around much much longer than that, He saw
Atlantis sink. 

He has nothing to do with the one from the show, I was really
disappointed in the way they handled that.

Anyway thanks again and rest assured there's more coming as soon as RL
allows.
