Now that was much better, but I didn't see anything wrong with the
ending. 

I mean surely nobody is naive enough to think that after all that
happened when they split that the two would just forget and fall into
bed,

You gave it a sensible and logical ending while leaving it open to just
about anything that could happen next.

All in all an interesting and entertaining piece of writing.

I'm looking forward to the next part and the eventual reunion of all the
major players.
